Captain Nick Ducich commanded A Company, 1-184th Infantry Regiment at Camp Doha, Kuwait from September 2001 to February 2002. Originally deployed under Operation Desert Spring; when 9/11 happened, the operation became a part of Global War on Terror. Nick Ducich would deploy multiple time as he rose to Brigadier General and at one point, a director of military advisory group in CJTF for Operation Inherent Resolve. SSG Dodds, 1/184th, Iraq 2005. The DCU was modified with lower pockets moved to sleeves. The modified DCU and loose velcro’ed patches found separately in the same place. Presumably they came together originally and possibly from the 1/184th. However, I am unable to be attributed the name to anyone on 1/184th this time. Third photo shows a 184th soldier with similar modified DCU with velcro.
